The Comandante C60 Baracuda is a manual coffee grinder developed for users who value precision, control, and consistency. The 60 mm Baracuda stainless steel burr enables a noticeably higher bean throughput while preserving a smooth and controlled grinding feel. Grind sizes can be adjusted across a wide range, from coarse settings for filter coffee to fine settings suitable for espresso and Cezve/Ibrik.

The grinder body is milled from a single block of high-performance stainless steel. This unibody construction provides excellent stability and efficient transfer of force during grinding. Comandante C60: Fast, Bright, but a Workout!

The shipping to the US was insane fast!

The Good: The grinding speed is a huge step up—it just eats through beans. The flavor is exactly what I wanted: super bright, clean, and vibrant. The Catch: It’s NOT for light roasts. The burrs are so aggressive that the resistance is crazy. If you’re grinding light beans, be prepared for a serious arm workout—it literally feels like it’s stuck.

Verdict: If you want speed and brightness, it’s a beast. Just maybe skip it if you only drink ultra-light roasts!

The scoop that changed my life!

I make a cookie recipe that has a lot of butter. The batter is kept in the refrigerator for 2 days before baking. I take it out to bring it to room temperature the night before. Due to the heavy butter volume the dough is very, very soft. Using my traditional scoop results in using my hands to release the dough onto the sheet pan. A very slow and messy process. With this non-stick scoop the dough falls right out! A miracle!
