We struggled for years with salt and pepper mills. They work for a short while and then clog up or won't grind properly. The answer for us was to buy high quality set that is manufactured properly. We are delighted with the Zassenhaus Set and do not struggle anymore with grinding the whole pepper or salt

This was a gift and the recipient loves it! It slices well, the crank is smooth and appears well made. The suction could be better—it doesn’t stick to the counter at all, which is not a problem for softer loaves but it can move around a bit with a denser loaf.

Great classic look, straightforward function, and the petrol/teal color is a wonderful addition to the kitchen. Easy to use.
