Our Limited International Warranty
- 10-year warranty for private household use
- 2-year warranty for commercial use
The warranty begins on the delivery date and applies to defects occurring within the warranty period.
For private household use, our 10-year warranty applies. For commercial use, such as bakeries or food-service operations, a 2-year warranty applies.
Our Promise
A Hawos grain mill is built to last for decades - and we approach our service the same way.
Should a material or workmanship defect occur, warranty service may include:

Many questions can often be resolved quickly through customer support.
For customers in the United States and Canada, local service and return addresses are available, so warranty cases can generally be handled without shipping the mill back to Germany.
In the event of a valid warranty claim, the warranty service itself involves no additional cost to you.
For Long Service Life
Our Hawos grain mills are designed for clean, dry grains.
For best performance, we recommend avoiding:
- damp grain
- oily seeds
- nuts, spices or coffee unless specifically approved
- cleaning the milling stones with water
- unsuitable voltage or improper power converters
These recommendations help protect your mill and support long-term performance.

This Limited International Warranty applies worldwide to electric Hawos grain mills purchased through official sales channels of Loewen META trading GmbH.
Your Legal Rights
This voluntary manufacturer’s warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights and does not limit them. The use of your statutory legal rights remains free of charge and is not limited by this warranty.
