Received the weather station as a gift. Very nicely crafted, beautiful wood. I’m fascinated with weather instruments and will enjoy using this one.

I bought this for my husband after much research to find the best weather station for the home. This is the brand! The light-colored wood is a lovely shade especially in the nice traditional banjo style. I was confident this company would carefully package it for shipping and I wasn’t disappointed. It arrived to Portland, Oregon safely. I was amazed how quickly it arrived— this company is very efficient processing orders. My husband was delighted to receive it for his birthday. Love it! The Weather Station arrived safe and sound. It is a nice looking piece and appears to be well made. My only knock on it is that the thermometer is difficult to read unless you get up very close. I wish I had purchased the station with the large dial type thermometer.

To begin, the Fischer Sheraton Weather Station is simply beautiful in terms of its design. Its function has been outstanding as well. The thermometer and hygrometer do very well, as I pretty much expected. I was a little nervous about whether the barometer would operate correctly since I live at an altitude of 5500 feet. But there are instructions for how to make the necessary adjustment for high altitude and they're easy to execute. I did have to make a couple of small adjustments during the first week or so in order to have the barometer "line up" with the local weather bureau's readings. But, having done so, it works great and operates in synch with the weather bureau's readings. So that lets me have a sense of what's happening without having to check the weather bureau or the local news weather forecast. I'm really happy to have this, my own private "weather station" that works so well.

This is absolutely beautiful. So well made. It will be passed down in the family for many years to come.
