Original Hofbräuhaus München Beer Stein "Salt Glaze"

Original Hofbräuhaus München Beer Stein "Salt Glaze"
Enjoy beer the traditional way – this handcrafted beer stein is inspired by the historic Keferloher mugs, once used exclusively on Munich’s Theresienwiese until 1892. Made using traditional techniques, each stein is hand-thrown, hand-painted, salt-glazed, and kiln-fired, reflecting the authenticity of Bavarian craftsmanship.
The textured salt-glazed finish helps retain carbonation, while the thick stoneware naturally insulates your beer – keeping it cooler, longer, just like in a Munich beer hall.

About the Manufacturer
This is not just a beer stein – it’s an original, handcrafted piece of German heritage. Made by KING-WERK, one of the last remaining traditional stein manufacturers in Germany, each mug is produced in Höhr-Grenzhausen, a historic town in the Westerwald region, known for its centuries-old stoneware craftsmanship.
Founded in 1949, KING-WERK stands for “Krüge Internationaler Geltung” – or “Steins of International Renown.” This name reflects the company’s dedication to quality, authenticity, and traditional craftsmanship. Every stein is 100% made in Germany, created by skilled artisans using techniques passed down through generations.
As the exclusive license partner of Hofbräuhaus München, KING-WERK is the only official producer of these steins, each one proudly bearing the authentic Hofbräuhaus logo. These are not mass-produced items – they are certified originals, made to last, and rich in cultural significance.
Whether you're a collector, beer lover, or someone who appreciates true craftsmanship, a KING-WERK stein brings the spirit of Munich and genuine German beer culture right into your home.
