It cuts bread very effectively, even fresh bread and the slice thickness mechanism is easy to use. If I were to improve the slicer I would make the shaft of the crank handle a little longer so it has less tendency to hit the slice of bread being cut as it rotates around. Alternatively provide a guide to keep the handle away from what's being sliced. The slicer wasn't cheap and the price reflects the very good quality of German manufacture, it's very well made indeed and you get what you pay for.

The grinder is excellent. However, my experience with the shipment with UPS was pitiful. The package arrived over a week late and was wet and the grinder has been removed from the original packaging. It was just a mess, however the grinder itself if very good. I don’t blame Loewen META for the shipping experience. This was all UPS’s fault.

Solid product with exceptional quality and performance

I'd been looking for this type of grater ever since a friend had an antique version from her grandmother. It works quickly to grate a large amount of cheese (harder cheeses work best) as well as frozen butter when I make pie crust. The suction cups on the feet really help keep it place. Best of all, I don't risk grating my fingers!!!

This not only is an excellent measuring device, it's a beautiful piece of furniture as well. I can tell it's made of fine materials and I will surely enjoy having it on the wall of my office. I must also say that the packaging is very secure and not under or over packed. The boxes both internal and external show that the shipping was brutal; they were very damaged and crushed. But the barometer was in pristine condition and unscathed. My thanks to the company for being aware of what could happen in transit and for packing it with care. I'm interested in browsing through your other products and will do so. Excellent work!

Best sharpener I've used. Took a bit of time to get my old knives edges back to set angle but once there it takes no time at all to sharpen.

A Schwabenkind living so far away this is an unforgotten treat . I got some Wibele even in my Schultuete 63 years ago .I know how they are made , but they always came from the neighborhood bakery . I ordered the tin , because it his a memory.
