The Pelamatic Robito Almond helps crack in-shell almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts and pecans. Designed for home use, it can reduce hand effort when preparing small to moderate batches for baking, cooking or snacking.

Most products in our range are made in Germany. This US version of the Robito Almond is made in China and supplied by Pelamatic, an established Spanish family-run manufacturer of electric food-preparation machines. We chose this model because both the product and Pelamatic convinced us. Among the alternatives we reviewed, we did not find comparable quality at a price we considered reasonable. We stand behind it with our two-year warranty.

Two operating modes
- Single-nut mode: Insert one nut and press the button to crack it.
- Continuous mode: Keep the mechanism running and feed nuts one at a time.
The cracking jaw is adjustable. For more consistent results, sort nuts into groups of similar size and adjust the cracking gap as needed. Place almonds on edge. Suitable nut size is approximately 0.47–1.26 in.
Important: What to know before buying
- Nuts are fed one at a time, even in continuous mode. There is no automatic hopper feed.
- For more consistent results, sort nuts by size and adjust the cracking gap. Place almonds on edge.
- The machine cracks hard shells. It does not remove the brown skin from almonds or separate kernels from shell pieces. Whole kernels are not guaranteed.
- The machine makes noticeable noise, and shell pieces may fly during cracking. Keep hands and face away from the cracking opening and moving parts.
- Turn off and unplug the machine before clearing a jam or cleaning it.
- Designed for home use and small to moderate batches. Individual feeding makes it less suitable for high-volume commercial processing.
