I would make a design change. I would have more space between where the turning handle is and where the bread comes out.
The bread can get caught up in that area as it is now.

The adjustment I made to this was to cut my loaf in half lengthwise and then slice half slice pieces of bread. They do not get caught up as a whole slice of bread does.

This it great! Very realiable and looks great in the sauna! I will be buying another one for the other corner of the sauna! Expensive but you know the saying: you get what you pay for!
