Westmark »Steinex« は、直径30 mm / 1.18 inまでのプラムやプルーンの種を、素早く効率よく取り除けるよう設計されています。焼き菓子や保存食づくりに最適です。果実をセットしてハンドルを押し合わせるだけ。特別に硬化処理されたステンレススチール製のクロスブレードが種を取り除くと同時に果実をカットし、きれいな下ごしらえを実現します。

Wonderful plum pitter

My damson plum tree (the small German baking plums) gave 40kg of plums this year. After pitting most of them with a knife or by smashing, I bought the Westmark plum stoner. It arrived quickly, from Germany to California, and it made the remainder of my pitting very easy. It is a great design, and safe to use. Note that this pitter works only for smaller plums, such as damson and California prune/Italian plums, but won't work for larger plums. (My plums are about 1"/2.5cm in diameter.)

The Westmark plum stoner is terrific. Did a great job removing the pits from 125 good size plums. I then quartered them along the Westmark lines and dehydrated. They came out perfect. Thank you Westmark!!

The scoop that changed my life!

I make a cookie recipe that has a lot of butter. The batter is kept in the refrigerator for 2 days before baking. I take it out to bring it to room temperature the night before. Due to the heavy butter volume the dough is very, very soft. Using my traditional scoop results in using my hands to release the dough onto the sheet pan. A very slow and messy process. With this non-stick scoop the dough falls right out! A miracle!

These are the best! I have had three in my lifetime, only replacing them when lost or lent to somebody who did not return!. They are strong and convenient, grating hard cheese like Parmesan easily, and quickly cutting cucumber, squash or other veggies. Wonderful too, way better than a box grater and not as bulky or heavy as a blender
