Replacing the stock crank and handle on the Comandante Mk 4 manual coffee bean grinder with the
Optional Comandante XL “Black Crank” and “BIG JOE” knob makes it easier to get a firm grip on the knob and grind with less strenuous motions. I’m glad I tried the stock setup first - changing over shows how much value the optional crank and knob add to the grinder for many users, including me.

Wish the handle was straight and not bent.

The Comandante® Coffee Grinder C40 MK4 Nitro Blade® provides accurate, consistent grinding results with far fewer fines that must be discarded compared to other grinders I have used. This makes optimal brewing more easily repeatable for maximum coffee drinking enjoyment.
Although quick to run through a batch of beans, electric grinders in the same or lower price range simply cannot compete given their wide variability of output. While some other manual models from other manufacturers may seem more "convenient" to adjust the settings, their output is typically not the same reliable quality.
The excellent blade design and meticulous workmanship of the Comandante® make it more likely to continue to be a pleasure to use over the long haul. I also appreciate the optional extended arm with larger knob, making it even easier to grind the whole beans into consistently sized grounds for brewing.

I was a little hesitant about ordering directly from Germany, but everything went perfectly. The barometer was packed well and delivered promptly.

I highly recommend this option. This upgrade makes grinding so easy and stable. For anyone who grinds coffee several times a day, you should consider this option!

Really satisfied. The order arrived very quickly in spite of coming from Europe. The grinder is excellent. It is worth the money.

It was very fast delivery more than i expected with complete packaging to secure contents. I am glad that I chose Loeven-Meta for my purchase of Comandante Grinder. Comandante grinder is obviously the top of the line in functional quality of what Coffee Grinder supposed to be. The most expensive among competitor grinders but its quality justifies the price.

Temperature and humidity indications have been quick to respond and consistently repeatable in sauna. Product arrived with good packaging to ensure safe delivery. Excellent precision equipment. I’m happy that I made the decision to purchase this product.

Great product and service

The Westmark plum stoner is terrific. Did a great job removing the pits from 125 good size plums. I then quartered them along the Westmark lines and dehydrated. They came out perfect. Thank you Westmark!!

We love our new Westmark Schnitzel Mouli, it is a modern upgrade to the original French Mouli my mother had in the 1950’-60’s. A great improvement.
