Slicer sliding table top short, but slices well

I specifically ordered this one for the large blade compared to other options. Shipping was very fast. Blade cuts even thick crusts very well but one design flaw is the sliding portion of the table is very short. Round loaves have to be cut in 1/2 or 1/4 befor it will slice.

I was very impressed on shipping time and communication. I knew where my package was and when it would arrive.
