Awesome Flaker!!

After being on the fence about ordering, I finally did and I am glad! The Flaker is of great quality, clamps to the kitchen counter easily, and it looks beautiful. I was surprised when it was delivered well before the stated timeline. Love our new grain mill. Only suggestion i would have is incorporate the transformer into the body of the machine. For the better part of $800.00 the design can be refined. Other than that performance is top tier!

Your suggestion about an integrated transformer is absolutely understandable. It’s important to note that this is an original 230V appliance made in Germany, which requires a converter for use in the United States. A true 110V version would not require a converter – however, Schnitzer does not offer such a version.

As outlined in the product description, the mill is therefore supplied with a properly matched external step-up converter. This setup also adds an extra level of safety, thanks to built-in protection features (for example in case of overload).

This mill is beautiful and amazing!

I am from the US and this mill shipped very quickly and was on my front door step in no time. I was able to get a “special batch” mill that had originally been made for US customers. It is absolutely beautiful, the hopper holds so many wheat berries for milling my own flour, and the set up to get the grinding stone where they needed to be is extremely easy. I highly recommend!
