Zero stars. I dies not work, and i emailed Loewen META and thet have not responded

Hello Thomas,

We’re sorry our response to your email took longer than usual. It arrived outside our regular office hours in Germany, shortly before a public holiday and bridge day. We normally reply within 24–48 hours on business days and often at weekends.

Your thermometer is an authentic Fischer instrument. We explained that the “0” belongs to the hygrometer scale and that the thermometer scale starts at 90°F. When you chose to return it, we sent you a prepaid return label and refunded your purchase.

All our products are covered by a two-year warranty. If a replacement is needed under the warranty, we provide one free of charge. We’re also happy to explain how to mount the instrument and check whether an adjustment is needed, although this is usually not necessary.

Kind regards,
Martin

Great manual oat flaker

I already own the Komo duett which is their electric grain mill with oat flaker and recently decided that having a manual one might come in really handy. This manual oat flaker works just as well. It just takes a bit longer by hand. Wise purchase. Go get yourself one. You're welcome!

Stockel Professional Ice Cream Scoop

Stockel scoops are the best quality, very sturdy and well made. I have 2 that were passed down to me by my Grandmother from the 60's or 70's and they are still working perfectly! They are the only scoops I've used that hold up to firm, chilled cookie dough.I also appreciate that they work for those of us that are left-handed. The shipping was quick and the products arrived in excellent condition.

Super effective golf ball collection

I bought this to collect golf balls used for my indoor simulator. It is super effective at picking the balls and seamlessly putting them back in the bucket. An excellent purchase that saved my back!

Very happy with this purchase

The grain mill arrived in western Canada about 2 weeks from the date I ordered it. I consider it a reasonably time-efficient order-processing + courier delivery. I have used the mill a few times so far to mill einkorn berries for making sourdough bread. I have never used other grain mills so I can't say about the flour fineness milled by this mill compared to others; But I am very content with it and the bread turned out great. I was looking for a compact manual grain mill that I can store away easily. Although this mill has much smaller milling capacity than all tabletop mills, it satisfies my needs (I typically bake small loaves and need up to 200g flour at a time) and I don't mind the time needed to mill the amount of flour I need -- I just watch some YouTube videos while using it, and time just flies by. Certainly, it requires constant arm movement and does tires my hand upon prolonged milling, but I consider it a bonus arm/hand exercise.

Quality Bread Slicer for Sour Dough Bread!

This was purchased for my husband. He is become a skilled sour dough bread maker, and the cheap plastic bread slicer we bought a year ago was not "cutting it" LOL. This is an extremely solid, well made, efficient slicer -- He is so happy! I was originally worried about buying a product from overseas but Loewen-Meta was top notch -- both for customer services(I asked a lot of questions) and for responding to me promptly when I had a shipping issue due to a delay at customs (completely out of their control). 5 stars both for the product and the Seller - simply top notch.
