View full detailsI went out of my way to get one of these from Germany as I could not find them available in the United States.
Item given to another as a present so not able to comment on it’s performance but looked very nice.
Love this slicer, all I would expect. Well engineered and feel like it would last years with minimal maintenance and parts replacement.
This flaker looks so cute in my kitchen and works beautifully. I’ve used it to make oat and rye flakes for breakfast for the health benefits and the amazing flavor. Eating fresh real living food (that hadn’t been heat treated yo become shelf stable) is a game changer. I’m very happy with the flaker and it’s so easy to clean? I just throw a table spoon or two of rice and crank it through and it cleans the rollers. I even save the flaked rice for the chickens so nothing is wasted.
Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely review of our Eschenfelder Grain Flaker. We're thrilled to hear that it not only looks cute in your kitchen, but also works beautifully to create delicious and nutritious oat and rye flakes for your breakfast. We agree that eating fresh, real living food is a game changer for our health. We're glad to hear that the flaker is easy to clean with the rice trick - what a great idea to save the flaked rice for your chickens! Thank you for choosing our product and for taking the time to leave a review. Happy flaking!
Just returned from visiting family in Germany and I ordered the Amano bread slicer while I was there and brught it home in my luggage. We love it! It slices through our homemade sourdough bread into perfectly even slices. It doesn't take up a lot of room on our counter either. My husband bakes all kinds of breads weekly so we will get a lot of use out of it. We also bought extra blades while in Germany.
Absolutely love this elegant tide clock. It has a heavy and beautiful wooden base and the real brass ring feel high quality. Look gorgeous in our boathouse as a qucik refrence on the tides.
Great Thermometer, love everything about it!
Thank you for stocking the natural stone. I've been looking everywhere for the natural stone. It's the only stipulation I had when looking for a grain mill! It's lovely. I can sift out my larger bran if I want an even thinner flour (which comes in handy for sausage gravy!!!). I use the larger bran for cookies and it goes well as crackers! This produces a lovely whole grain. I'm a tiny woman, so it was hard at first.. but my husband broke it in for me and it rolls smoothly!
I never knew I needed this, but now I wonder how I lived without it. It removes stones from prune plums rapidly and easily, simplifying the job of making a delicious Bavarian plum cake and plum compote for Kaiserschmarrn—among other wonderful things.
