The peppermills series FRANKFURT is made of bamboo, which is taken from sustainable production. Bamboo is growing extremely fast – up to 1m daily. Additionally, this plant provides plenty of oxygen and biomass. This valuable raw material has one more advantage: is it very hard and solid. Just like the Zassenhaus high-quality grinding mechanism (part of all Zassenhaus salt- and pepper mills), made out of wear-proof and corrosion-free high-performance ceramics – Made in Germany. The grinding degree for salt, pepper, spices and dried herbs can be adjusted infinitely, from ultrafine to coarse. As the scale is at the grinder bottom, degree of grinding remains exactly the same while refilling.
